Finally! summer break has begun. I've got all the time in the world now to finish up all the blank pages of my comic, show my professors, copyright, take to comic con and hope for the better. But of course, life isn't all that easy in the graphic novel medium. I read very many books on the industry and how to make a polished and ready-to-go portfolio. Hint Hint, my portfolio will NOT include any of my work here online. Its gonna be all finished layouts and some fancy-shmancy pin-ups and cover work.
I hope to show a local comic book label, for there are very many existing in my area. I also plan crazily, to go to the comic con and show my work to Dark Horse.
Its gonna be a hell of a hassle, especially for I am 13 and everyone around me will be art students and such, I'm gonna try really damn hard. Listen to critism and hopefully complements. Accept Interns or accept nothing at all.Im giving it all a try.
I started working on the tattoed dude last night. What color is he? His hair and eyes? Can you note me some more about him so I can approach it propoerly?
